Why the DC vs PBKS Rivalry Matters
Delhi Capitals (known as Delhi Daredevils until 2018) are still waiting for a first IPL title and finished runners-up in 2020. Punjab Kings (known as Kings XI Punjab until 2020) are still waiting for a first IPL title and finished runners-up in 2014, 2025.
Delhi and Punjab are the two original franchises yet to win an IPL title, and their meetings have been dead even over the years. It is a fixture of high scores, tight finishes and the occasional Super Over.
Over 36 meetings spread across 19 seasons, the fixture has produced no playoff meetings so far, and its highest-scoring game (25 Apr 2026) produced 529 runs in total.
DC vs PBKS Overall Head to Head Record at a Glance
